Medication over bank holiday closures

Patients are being reminded to order their repeat prescriptions in time for the upcoming bank holiday closures so they don’t run out of vital medications. 

Many GP practices and pharmacies will have limited opening hours or will be closed over the bank holiday making it difficult for patients to access medicines at short notice.

To save that last minute panic, patients can check their GP practice and local pharmacy opening times in advance, and if they have access to the NHS app, they can order repeat prescriptions that way too.
