Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP)

DPP aims to help reduce an individual’s risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes by promoting healthy lifestyle adjustments.

It provides structured educational support covering; nutritional advice, strategies to improve physical activity, stress management and sleep routine guidance.

This is done via face-to-face groups within your local community or through tailored remote services for those with visual or hearing impairments.

The programme is approximately 20 hours spread over 9 months, it involves 14 educational sessions including an end of programme review.

If you are eligible for this programme, you would have been contacted by us already. If you have been invited before and did not want to accept the invitation, it is not too late to change your mind. Simply contact us and ask for us to refer you onwards.
